A beautiful home with wonderful views and location. Clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. Great amenities including swimming, firepit, beach, paddle boards and kayaks. Ten to fifteen minutes drive into downtown Burlington. Will hope to be back again.

Beautiful house situated right on Lake Champlain. Full kitchen and dining area overlooking lake and sky. Hardwood floors with all new appliances. King-sized bed with multiple closets and lots of space with an upstairs loft with an epic view. Grill outside on deck with beach access and firewood and pit for bonfires. Our stay here was relaxing and felt luxurious along the lake within the Vermont woods. It was the best part of our trip back East.

Beautiful property! So great to be able to wake up and look at the lake every morning. We had a great stay and are already planning our next visit. So close to many Burlington area attractions. the Champlain Bungalow was perfect for my wife, daughter, and me. Looking forward to many future stays!

Super comfortable, very clean, very spacious, awesome view. We were only able to stay for two nights maybe next time we can stay a whole week.

I highly recommend this rental for anyone visiting VT. It’s smack dab in the middle of all of Burlington’s best spots.. minutes away from Church street and downtown Burlington - not to mention the view from the living room in this suite is breathtaking! Clear view of lake Champlain. We stayed in suite #2 and haven’t seen the others, but highly recommend this suite for a couple or a small family! Definitely coming here again. Everything was perfect! Neil and Deb provided a wonderful vacation home for the weekend for my husband and I. Highly recommend this location.

We'd highly recommend this property. The owner, Neil, takes pride in maintaining the completely renovated space. We stayed in bungalow #2 and it was perfect. The location is so peaceful. Just 5 miles to the center of Burlington too.

Amazing view of the lake and a nicely defined interior. Must say the owners go to a lot of effort to maintain such a big house. A must-stay in Vermont. 10 mins to Main street where you can get several restaurants and few pubs. Nearby McDonald's and Dunkin are perfect to grab early breakfast.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The building is very new, had all the niceties, and the appliances were all top-notch. The views over the Lake were gorgeous as well.

O.M.G. what a find! My BF found this place for a Fall Foliage 5 day trip in NH and VT, and we are hoping to come back in the summer! New, clean, outstanding spot. We could not be happier!

Wonderful quiet place with more than everything, you need. We will definitely come Back and stay longer! Such a gem!

Beautiful peaceful inn on Bay!

Thank you for providing a wonderful place to stay for a college bestie reunion.  The fireplace was a nice treat after our hike to the summit of Camel’s Hump.  The view of the bay is amazing and wish we have more time to enjoy it.

Thank you for providing such a cozy house for our night stay.  The view from any window overlooking the bay is beautiful with our luck we also woke up to some snow. 

My husband and I took a last-minute trip to try and catch the Northern Lights.  Unfortunately, the clouds did not cooperate. However, this home and the view, along with being able to bring our best boy Marshall (our dog), more than made up for it.  We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!

We had a lovely 2-night stay at Lakeshore.  Despite the couple of wet days we had, we were easily able to enjoy playing games, watching the Sound of Music, and having dinner in front of the fire.  The area offers loads of activities, where our sweet tooth could not resist visiting Ben and Jerry’s an all American experience and the Von Trapp Family Lodge for some apple strudel.  Many thanks and until next time!

What a beautiful treasure it is here.  Our family loved every moment.  From the paddleboards at sunrise to swimming and the luxury and comfort of the Vermonter.  Not a detail missing.  One of the best vacations we’ve had, ever.

It was so much better than expected!  It had all the amenities and more!  It was our first family trip since 2019.  We enjoyed our time here & Neil & Deb came over to help within minutes to help unlock bathroom door & turn on fireplace.  We enjoyed the views & outdoors.  We hope to come back someday. Fantastic Stay!  Went for a super fun (and super long) bike ride around South Hero and North Hero Island.  But the best part was coming back to a night hot shower and snuggling into a big, comfy bed for a nap!

As we sit and read through this journal, we’re at a loss on what to contribute that hasn’t been stated.  76 Lakeshore hits it on every level; location is fantastic & our accommodations were beyond our expectations.  The Colchester community is a gem. We rode our bikes along the Causeway, strolled Church Street in Burlington & made our way to Jericho for maple syrup. 

This was our first vacation to Vermont & look forward to returning and Happy 31st Anniversary to us! 

We three are repeat guests and always enjoy Lakeshore.  Fine fittings, well equipped, lovely view, and three bald eagles this past five days.  Winter weather arriving today!

Neil&Deb, Awesome place with breathtaking view! We're so happy we decided to stay here instead of a hotel.  We brought my parents from Lexington, Kentucky for their first trip EVER to Vermonter.  We'll definitely book again with friends.  Thank you for everything!  Go CATS!

What a spot! We love “Lakeshore Vermont” and will be back. Beautiful Inn.  Totally spoiled by all the luxuries.  This place will be highly recommended to many people.  Amazing job, Deb and Neil.

 

Dear Lake House, 

Being local Vermont dwellers’, we decided to have a Staycation and chose this lovely location.  Everything exceeded our expectations, fulfilling every desire of relaxation we wanted, with still being able to stay in a reasonable closeness.  The master bedroom amazing, as well as the view! The pictures don’t do it justice. Glad to have discovered this gem and we will definitely come back!  I imagine summertime would be spectacular!  

 

What a perfect surprise Valentine getaway.  The upstairs nook was perfect for getting snowed in with a book.  Stunning snowy views. Our pup, Sage, had a blast running up and down the hill and destroying any6 attempt of a snowman. A very warm and welcoming space with everything we needed.  We will surely spread the work of this little gem!  

Spectacular and amazing! The entire family (mom, dad, two daughters and Golden) had a great mini vacation.  The views, the attention to detail and perfect finishes make Lakeshore a gem that we will surely return to.  Many thanks from our family t yours.

We were lucky enough to rent the entire place for our youngest daughter’s graduation weekend from Champlain College.

 

This is beyond our wildest expectations for a lakeside getaway, more than all the comforts and an extra ordinary location.  No noise from the road and an experience that changes throughout the day and night. It was a family reunion with all of kids and spouses and dog. It was a true joy. Thank you.

What an absolutely beautiful stay we’ve had.  We were able to take full advantage of everything this vacation Inn had to offer, including paddling, jumping off the dock into the lake, grilling beautiful steaks, having a fire on the beach, watching primetime football in the loft, and working remotely.  Thanks so much for providing everything we needed to round out our New England Road trip.  Brie, Jay and Mona, Superior, CO.

 

What a magical place to spend our 10th wedding anniversary! The view and accommodations were outstanding. Our puppy also loved it here. We especially loved the views and walking on the frozen lake. We look forward to returning.  Lori, Bryan, and Murphy 

We are a family from Switzerland and decided to spend our summer vacation in New York and New England.  After 5 days of big city life in NYC we came up here to enjoy the countryside.  It’s very similar to Switzerland, very green.  Just the lakes are bigger the mountains are a bit smaller.  We enjoyed the lake and surroundings.   Ben & Jerry’s is a Vermont surprise and a good idea for day trip.  Rented a bike downtown Burlington and rode the bike path all the way to the end of the Island Line Trail.  Thanks Neil and Deb for being such great hosts. 

 

Great place! My wife and I really enjoyed the accommodation. We spent evenings on the deck with the gas-fireplace (highly recommend on a cool evening). This was a bicycling vacation for us. Taking the Causeway trail to Grand Isle (and biking around Grand Isle) was one of the best treks we’ve ever experienced.  No negative-Only positives!!

 

It doesn’t get much better than this. Great views here at Lakeshore Vermont, and very cozy despite the single digit temperatures outside.  Some of the highlights include, sledding, making friends with locals, and shopping in Burlington/Waterbury and Stowe.  The Burlington Brew Tours was an excellent way to spend the day and learn about local beer. The pizza at Fiddlehead Brewery was five stars and that is coming from a New Jerseyan.  Shelburne Vineyard is a nice place to sample some different wines and they are very friendly.  Looking for bougie meal…try Waterworks in Winooski or the Farmhouse Tap and Grill downtown.  Net time on the agenda-Bingo at Broadacres (right down the street) and a tour of Magic Hat Brewery. Thank you, Neil and Deb, for you hospitality!
